Classes are held at the Fred M. Packard Center, 4022 Hummer Road, Annandale VA 22003.

Monday, May 25, 2026–7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wood Carving
Experienced and beginning carvers invited. Enjoy renewing or learning new skills in a meditative art. Relish in a decorative or functional with wood carving as you grow and adventure indoors or outdoors with wood projects. All persons will take home a small wood carving project. Carvings may differ from month to month.
Ages 16 years old and older. (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire session).
Knives and safety equipment are provided during carving session.
The cost of the class is $5.00. Pay in cash to the instructor. Preregistration required. See above for registration information.

Learn to Paint the Northern Lights
Play with color, learn painting techniques, and take home a piece of art you can enjoy. Beginners welcome.
