Wood Carving Class: Learn to carve in the round on a wooden carving blank
February 24 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
The Northern Virginia Carvers (NVC) invite ages 16 to 100 years old to participate. A release form is required to be signed prior to class starting. Anyone who is under 18 must have a responsible adult present during the full woodcarving session. Woodcarving would make a fun family activity.
Wood project carved will be taken home.
Preregistration required. To register: Call or visit the Craft Gallery (703-941-0202; 4022 Hummer Road). Give your name, contact information, ages (if children). Payment by cash or check on the day of the class or before.
$5.00
There is a $5.00 cash fee for individual wood blanks. The safety equipment and knives are provided for free during the carving session. Come and join. Answers to questions and carving guidance are provided for free.
